The raw material is only 15 minutes away from the processors, that ensures the freshest raw material available.
Haustak uses geothermal energy and hot water to dry their products. In Reykjanes we get steam from Hs Orka and use it to heat up our drying facilities. Haustak is therefor inside Hs Orka Reykjanes resource park which has the goal of making the most out of all renewable energy.
